Most brands start from a library formula the lab has already tested, the fastest and lowest-cost route, then adjust the actives, texture or scent. A custom formula is developed from your brief. Either way you see the full INCI list before you approve a sample.
Packaging that protects the actives
A glass dropper bottle suits most serums and photographs well. Vitamin C and retinal lose strength when they meet air and light, so we suggest an airless pump or an opaque bottle for them. Stock containers are in the unit price, with no tooling cost; custom colors, frosting, printing and a box are quoted as separate lines. See packaging and labels.

Larger runs cost less per unit: about 20% less at 1,000 units, 35% less at 3,000, 38% less at 5,000 and 40% less at 10,000, against the 500-unit price. Your written quote shows the exact numbers.
Timeline
Lab samples take about 2 weeks to make from your brief, then 5 to 10 days by air. After you approve the sample, production takes about 4 to 5 weeks with a ready or adjusted formula, or 4 to 6 weeks with a custom formula. Reorders are faster than the first run.
